Privacy Policy

Steadyline is a personal mood, sleep, medication, and pattern-reflection app for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1 Summary (Plain Language)

  • Your personal logs are stored locally on your device.
  • If Cloud Sync is enabled, your data is also stored in our cloud (Supabase).
  • We use third-party services for auth, payments, optional cloud sync, and optional AI.
  • You can use local app features without creating an account.
  • We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
  • We do not use your data for third-party advertising or tracking.

2 Information We Collect

What You Provide

Daily logs: mood, energy, sleep, medication, symptoms, notes, tags, goals, and other journal fields. Optional email for sign-in.

Device & App Data

Device identifiers, product interaction, usage, and diagnostic data needed for authentication, purchase validation, app functionality, app reliability, crash reporting, and service security where applicable.

Health Data (Optional)

Self-reported mood, sleep, medication, symptom, menstrual-cycle, therapy, safety-plan, and journal information you choose to enter. On iOS, Steadyline does not currently read Apple Health data.

AI / Analysis Data (Optional)

If AI features are enabled, limited de-identified app context may be sent to Groq to generate responses and insights. This may include your current chat message, limited recent chat history, summarized recent log context, mood, sleep, energy, symptom labels, tags, and short note snippets when relevant. Your name, email address, and account identifier are not included in AI prompts.

Payment & Subscription Data

Purchase status, product identifiers, renewal status, and transaction-related metadata may be processed through RevenueCat and the App Store or Google Play to manage subscriptions and restore purchases.

3 How We Use Your Data

  • · Provide core app features: logging, trends, reminders, export, summaries, and optional AI.
  • · Sync your data across devices (when Cloud Sync is enabled).
  • · Improve stability and detect issues via crash reporting.
  • · Process purchases and manage subscriptions.
  • · Generate AI-powered summaries or insights (when enabled).

4 Where Your Data Is Stored

Local storage: Always on your device.

Cloud storage (optional): When Cloud Sync is enabled, synced app data is stored in Supabase.

If Cloud Sync is off, your logs stay on your device unless you choose to use another feature that sends data, such as optional AI or secure report links.

We do not sell your data. We share only what is needed to run the app:

6 Tracking & Advertising

Steadyline does not sell personal data, does not share personal data with data brokers, and does not use health-related data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. If this practice changes, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information before collecting or using data in that way.

7 Your Choices & Controls

  • · Use the app fully offline (disable Cloud Sync in Settings).
  • · Use local app features without creating an account.
  • · Delete local app data in Settings → Delete All My Data.
  • · Delete account or cloud data by using in-app deletion where available or by contacting ravi@steadyline.app.
  • · Export your logs at any time from Settings.
  • · Turn AI processing and Cloud Sync on or off in Settings → Privacy.
  • · Contact us if you need help accessing, correcting, exporting, or deleting account-related data.

8 Account Deletion

If you created an account, you may request account deletion by contacting ravi@steadyline.app or by using in-app deletion where available. We will delete or de-identify account data unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, support, or purchase-record reasons. Deleting your Steadyline account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed through your platform account settings.

9 Security

All data stored on your device is protected using platform security and local database encryption where enabled. Encryption keys are stored in platform-secure storage and never leave your device. All network communication uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Secure report links are encrypted before upload.

10 Prohibited Uses of Health Data

Steadyline does not use your health-related data, including self-reported entries like mood, sleep, energy, symptoms, medications, and therapy notes, for any of the following:

  • Determining employment, insurance, lending, or any third-party eligibility decision.
  • Advertising, targeted advertising, or ad profiling.
  • Sharing with data brokers or selling to any third party.
  • Unauthorized sharing on social networks or public platforms.

Your health data powers only the in-app features you have chosen to enable. It is never repurposed.

11 Children's Privacy

Steadyline is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

12 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is the Privacy Policy page shown here. If our data practices materially change, we will update this page and any required App Store or Google Play privacy disclosures.
